With this spending bill, America has now gone into debt that exceeds the GGP: Gross Global Product. There's always talk about our Gross National Product, but we have now exceeded spending that amounts to more than all eh products currently available on the global market.

This is nothing to be proud of. This is shameful.

How did we get here? The Liberals want to blame Bush. Last time I checked it was Clinton that signed NAFTA, taking away American jobs and putting them into teh hands of foreign nationals on foreign soil. Sure, it created cheaper goods in the short run, but in the long run nobody had jobs to buy those products. The savings cost was only felt by the stock investors of those companies. Retail prices didn't change one bit, they did however increase with Inflation.

In the end, as with all liberal dictatorshiops, the American people, will ultimately have to foot the bill. obama's promise of taxing the rich and sparing the middle and lower class won't matter one bit, because the affluent control the flow. It was witnessed in San Francisco with Newsome passing Manditory Health Insurance for all industry workers. Sure, they got their coverage (horribly low socialistic clinics) and then every restaurant raised all their prices by at least $1 per item to offset their costs.

You cant blame the industry, because most of them are barely getting by. However, do you think if somebody like wallmart was suddenly taxed to help the economy they wouldn't immediately gouge prices of their cheap Chinese goods? They wouldn't cut more hours and lay off people? Count on it.

The Federal Gov't needs to take a step back and remember it's role: Tariffs. Start charging at the gates all these imported goods. This will no doubt infuriate the foreign markets -- too bad. Collect their money that way, which brings funds INTO this country instead of constantly sending our money out. When we had tariffs in place, we didn't have financial problems. We had national products. We grew our own food, and made our own clothes. The world could burn and the United States would still be standing. Now, if China decided to withhold goods, our economy would come to a grinding halt.

Hope and change? right.
